When is the Snake River Country Market?
Our Market is on the 1st and 3rd Saturday starting the first weekend in May, and continues though the 3rd week of October from 11am-3pm.
How do I become a vendor?
All you need is something to sell, then we'll help you with the rest! Go to our "More" tab and fill out the application to become a vendor at our Market. Then we will send you a code to create a Seller's permit specific to our Market (this is to collect and submit the sales tax from your sales). And that's it! We want to encourage the growing businesses in our community. Email us with any questions, and let us know if you need help. We'd love to have you join our team!
As a vendor, what do I need to know?
Here at the Snake River Country Market, we want you to thrive! And as a vendor, you will pick your inventory, create a display for your items and collect sales tax (%6) for each sale. The sales tax will need to them be submitted to the Idaho Tax Commission at the end of the season. There is a flat fee of $25/market day to reserve your spot each week. But unlike many other Farmers' Markets, we DON'T take a percentage of your sales, you earned that fair and square. We hope to see you soon!
What forms of payment are acceptable?
For Vendors:The type of payment accepted is up to the discretion of each vendor. For your convenience, most vendors accept several forms of payment for their handiwork, this may include cash, Paypal, Venmo, Zelle etc.
For the Booth fee: Our market accepts cash, check and venmo for any and all booth fee payments. Please make all checks out to "Snake River Country Market." Venmo Payments are sent to the market director @Megan-Poole.
Who coordinates the Market?
